About

Michael comes with over a decade of winemaking, wine tasting, and wine writing experience. He has a BS in Chemistry with a minor in Fermentation Science from Oregon State University and an MS in Organizational Leadership from Johns Hopkins University. His experience working in the wine industry spans 12 Harvests across Oregon, Washington, and New Zealand and involved work in farming, winemaking, and winery general management.


He also holds a WSET Advance Certification with Distinction, spent over 2 Years teaching winemaking classes through WSET for the advanced certificate, and ran a certificate focused tasting group for over 2 years.
